Story & photos : Tasks completed today: The tank stand was rebuilt & the tank repositioned. The kitchen walls were washed & painted. Tiling on the kitchen floor has started. The metal base for the shower was built & put in place to support the walls & prevent further rot. New skirting boards have been painted, ready to install tomorrow. Max, Tina, Pip & Rodney went diving on 2 Japanese transport ship wrecks & met a couple of great doctors, one Scottish & one Australian, who are volunteering their services at the local hospital. We need a good orthopaedic surgeon to look at Yelena's knee! We are preparing to host a hungi tomorrow night, with over 100 guests. So far we've had 2 knee injuries & 1 eye injury, all of them painful but none of them really serious. The person apprehended last night is a well known repeat offender, who is now cooling his heels in the cells. Apparently, the boys caught one of the two intruders & held him while they woke Bob (which takes a while) & called the police. The RDO patrol went on a hike with the local Scouts up into the mountains & you can see the results of their efforts in some of the stunning photos. Hiking - movie (6.3 Megs)
